Daire si prietenul sau Dace Richter trebuie sa lucreze impreuna sa ii gaseasca inainte ca haosul sa ia amploare si balanta dintre bine si rau sa fie distrusa. In timp ce relatia lor se adanceste, fratele diabolic al lui Dace, Cade devine mai puternic ca niciodata, construindu-si puterea si fortandu-i pe Daire si Dace sa confrunte groaznica profetie care i-a adus impreuna.
